Top 5 Tools Apps Performance in Egypt Q3 2023

In the third quarter of 2023, Egypt's top 5 Tools apps exhibited a range of performance trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Data sourced from Sensor Tower reveals the following insights:

SHAREit: Transfer, Share Files from Smart Media4U Technology Pte.Ltd. saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 249K in early September before slightly declining to around 216K by the end of the quarter. Weekly revenue showed a gradual rise, ending the quarter at about $114. The app maintained a strong user base with weekly active users fluctuating between 3.8M and 4M throughout the quarter.

QR & Barcode Scanner by Gamma Play experienced a notable rise in weekly downloads, starting at 62K in late June and reaching a peak of 108K in early September. However, downloads decreased to approximately 82K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users also increased, peaking at around 520K by the quarter's end.

My WE, developed by Telecom Egypt, showed consistent weekly download numbers, fluctuating between 82K and 102K. The app's active user base remained relatively stable, with weekly active users ranging from 2.7M to 2.8M over the quarter.

Flower VPN - Fast Proxy Master from Lineage Mobile Application Develop Team saw a decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 159K in late June and dropping to about 54K by the end of September. Despite this, the app's weekly active users showed some resilience, ending the quarter at approximately 149K.

TeraBox: Cloud Storage Space by Flextech Inc. experienced significant growth in weekly downloads, starting at 25K in late June and peaking at around 130K in late August. Weekly revenue saw a notable increase, reaching approximately $106 in mid-September. The app's active user base also grew substantially, peaking at around 243K in early September before slightly declining to about 213K by the end of the month.
